As most of you already know, we are officially going to Las Vegas. We still don't know when though. We are finishing up all the things we were not done with on our house. Lots of little things- painting trim, finishing the top trim on the doorways, kitchen backsplash, little bathroom finish work, etc. Charles came down from Seattle on Monday and Tuesday to help me paint the crown moulding. I am so grateful for his help! We got all of the crown finished as well as the tops of the doorways! I still have all of the sides of the doorways and the jams, the window trim, all of the baseboard, and the doors to paint. And some yard work. I am hoping to have all the work done by the end of next week. We could use any assistance in accomplishing this feat! Please pray for us that we will be able to get it ready by then and that we will be able to sell it. That would be a great help to us.

ReplyDeleteThey aren't offering anything yet. The CEO told Jeff that he appreciates us getting our house on the market as soon as possible. I think they were planning to help people, but then everyone started asking for more than is realistic, so they are trying to get everyone to put forth a little effort on their own first. And I am looking for boxes so I can store stuff like pictures, candles, games, toys, and clothes that we don't want out when trying to sell our house.
ReplyDeleteWhen I needed boxes for ebay I would go to walmart around midnight. That's when they stock the shelves. I was always able to find boxes of ANY size. You could try that.
ReplyDeleteAlso don't tell anyone but I put a lot of stuff in priority mail boxes. you can order 25-50 boxes at a time at www.usps.com for free. They are small but work great for clothes, books, toys, spices, etc. I didn't feel guilty about it because then I turned around and used them to mail stuff from ebay anyway.
